APO perform in the Concert Hall

On Saturday 15th October, Tamesis will be joining forces with Aldworth Philharmonic Orchestra to perform Gustav Mahler's second symphony, otherwise known as the "Resurrection Symphony". The concert will take place in the Great Hall of Reading University, on London Road. Although Tamesis and APO were founded shortly after one another in the early 2000s, this will be the first time the two have collaborated to present a concert.

Greyfriars Church

On Saturday 14th November, Tamesis will be returning to Greyfriars Church in Reading, for a concert with a difference: as well as the usual diet of stunning choral music, we'll be picking up our instruments to offer you a selection of instrumental interludes. Already signed up are a trombone solo, a flute quartet and a piece for soprano and trumpet. Do come and join us!

St Clement Danes

In just under a month, Tamesis will be making its West End debut, performing a concert at the gorgeous church of St Clement Danes on the Strand. This concert also marks the choir’s first performance as part of the prestigious Brandenburg concert series. We’ll be performing the beautiful Chilcott Requiem, alongside a number of songs by the best known contemporary choral composers, including Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo, Howard Goodall and Will Todd. We’re very much hoping for a sell-out crowd, so do come and join us if you possibly can. Tickets are available via the Brandenburg Festival website.
